Draft for legal review

Privacy Notice Draft

This draft explains how the Winline International website handles information, including the use of Google Analytics 4. It is published for transparency while the responsible legal entity, privacy contact details, and final retention periods are reviewed by Winline's legal team.

Last updated:

1. Scope and responsible organization

This notice applies to the Winline International website, its localized pages, product catalogue, request-for-quotation workflow, checkout, order lookup, support services, and analytics features.

The final policy must identify the exact Winline legal entity acting as data controller, its registered address, and a dedicated privacy contact before legal approval.

2. Information we handle

Website and analytics data may include page URL, referral source, browser and device type, language, approximate region, visit time, page views, scrolls, outbound-link interactions, product interest, and consent status.

Business forms and transaction workflows may separately process contact details, company information, project requirements, quotation details, order records, and support information supplied by you. Payment-card details are processed by the selected payment provider and should not be sent to Google Analytics.

3. Google Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand website usage and improve product, RFQ, checkout, support, and outbound-channel experiences. The Analytics tag uses basic consent mode: it is not loaded until you select Accept analytics in the cookie banner.

Advertising storage, advertising user data, and advertising personalization remain disabled in the website configuration. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, phone numbers, payment details, free-text RFQ content, or order identifiers to Google Analytics.

4. Purposes and legal grounds

Consent is the basis for optional analytics. Information you submit for quotations, orders, support, or other business requests may be processed to respond to your request, take steps toward a contract, perform a contract, comply with law, or protect legitimate business and security interests, depending on the applicable jurisdiction.

5. Service providers and international transfers

Analytics information may be processed by Google LLC and its affiliates or service providers. Business operations may also rely on hosting, payment, email, logistics, CRM, and support providers where configured.

Information may be processed outside your country. The final policy must document the applicable transfer mechanism and regional safeguards after legal review.

6. Retention

Analytics data is retained according to the settings of the Winline GA4 property. Business records are kept only as long as reasonably required for the stated purpose, legal obligations, dispute handling, security, and audit needs. Exact retention periods must be confirmed before this draft becomes the final policy.

7. Your choices and rights

You can accept or reject analytics in the cookie banner and reopen Cookie settings from the footer. Withdrawing consent stops future consent-based Analytics loading on this device after the page reloads.

Depending on local law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of personal information, and to complain to a supervisory authority.

8. Security, children, and changes

We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. The website is intended for business users and is not directed to children.

We may update this notice as the website, providers, or legal requirements change. Material changes should be clearly dated.
